Psionics System
I have been fascinated with psionics since I first saw Star Wars. Of course, it wasn't called "psionics", but "the Force." Other movies, like Scanners, Phenomenon and more recent films like Lucy and Chronicle helped fuel my fascination. However, the term "psionics" didn't come along until I was exposed to Advanced Dungeons and Dragons in high school.
AD&D had a section which talked about psionic talents for characters. While cool, some of the talents felt campy. As editions of D&D progressed, new psionic systems were developed. They were getting better but didn't fit to my liking. Pathfinder had bits and pieces I liked, but still didn't completely fit what I had in mind. Therefore, I decided to try my hand at my own system. You can probably guess which system I'm tailoring my version below...
