Canthany Rising is officially off to my ARC team to read over and comment. I now have a book cover purchased in which a teaser cover will be going up on my site soon. Here’s a preview.
So, what’s next?
For me, a ton. I have promotion sites to evaluate. Instagram posts to plan out. Ads to plan out. Marketing videos to watch. A book trailer is in the works. SEO keyword fixes to my site and figure out who/how to get backlinks to raise my site’s visibility to search engines. Take in the feedback from ARC readers to see if I need to make last-second changes to Canthany. New bookmarks for the Realm Makers conference swag bags with brand new, non-AI artwork for the Canthany characters have been made. (I haven’t converted the characters from The Accident yet.) And much, much more!
Oh yeah, if anyone happens to be in St. Louis, MO between June 23rd to June 27th, both The Accident and Canthany Rising will be available in the Expo Realm Makers bookstore. (Of course, I don’t expect everyone to make the trip.) And for those in the Goodrich/Ortonville, MI area, I have copies of The Accident at the Cottage Used Books in Goodrich. When I have copies of Canthany Rising available, I’ll send a few to Cottage as well.
It’s a short news report this time. Have a great day!
What else is going on?
Hopefully when this posts, my website will have the front page changes made. Otherwise, I’m quite pre-occupied with all the stuff above.
Writing Progress Report
The next novelette with Eric D’Tra’val is in the works. Tentatively called Psionic Prodigy, Eric is thirteen years old and just lost his adoptive mother to cancer. His faith is shaken and he must deal with a jealous officer at Koplan Psi-Ops base, a new powerful telepath and some trespassers looking for treasure. This story will be about the same length as The Accident and I’m already working on chapter four of a planned seven.
God Bless you all!

I am a Mathematics and Computer Science degree holder from the University of Michigan-Flint...which has nothing to do with writing. I am also a retired insurance professional of thirty-three years...which barely has anything to do with writing.
