Background
Max is a career officer in the Army’s Psi-Ops. He formed the original Rescue and Recovery teams as a Lieutenant and passed the baton to others as he rose in rank. When the latest recruit, one Eric D’Tra’val, arrived at his base, the initial clash between them nearly destroyed three buildings. However, once they both calmed down, they both realized they needed each other and, in time, became fast friends. Max’s temper is still a bit short and he comes across as brusque, but underneath he just wants what’s best for his people and the nation.
